isdn -- ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) device support

Description

SCO systems provide support for Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) adapters. ISDN is a part of the MAC Driver Interface (see mdi(7)) for support of ISDN WAN devices.

This UnixWare release supports Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ISDN service, consisting of two 64K B-channels and one 16K D-channel. Future releases will support Primary Rate Interface (PRI) service, consisting of 23 64K B-channels and one 16K D-channel.

ISDN devices are configured with the Network Configuration Manager; in Configuring LAN connectionsfor more information, see ``Adding ISDN devices'' in Adding ISDN devices.
