Managing filesystem types

The sfs filesystem type

The sfs filesystem type is a variation of the ufs filesystem type. The boot block, superblock, storage blocks, and free blocks for the sfs filesystem type are, at the administrative level, identical to those for ufs. See the discussion of these items in ``The ufs filesystem type''. The inodes differ from ufs inodes, however.
