This section describes the use of fsck with ufs filesystems. It assumes you are running fsck interactively, and that all possible errors can be encountered. When an inconsistency is discovered in this mode, fsck reports the inconsistency for you to choose a corrective action. (You can also run fsck automatically using the -y, -n, or -o p options.)
