Configuring LAN connections

Driver configuration

Use the Network Configuration Manager to configure a driver.

PCI, EISA, and MCA adapters may not require that you supply special driver configuration parameters, because most configuration information is detected automatically.

If you are configuring ISA or PC Card (PCMCIA) adapters:

See UNRESOLVED XREF-0 for configuration information specific to your network adapter.


NOTE: Network adapter drivers included with UnixWare 7 are ``dynamically loadable'', which means that they can be added to a running system without rebooting the system or rebuilding the kernel. It might be necessary to reboot your system after configuration if you have installed some older drivers. See your hardware documentation for more information.
