sendmail mail channels
UnixWare supports sendmail mail channels. These are logically
composed of two elements, as follows:
-
a channel table whose data determines what messages will be delivered
by the channel

-
an agent, such as SMTP, which performs the actual delivery
The following channels are supported:
 badhost
-
Specifies where to route mail when the host name is unresolvable.
 baduser
-
Specifies where to route mail when the user name is unresolvable.
 SMTP
-
Specifies that mail is to be sent using the Simple Mail Transport
Protocol.
 UUCP
-
Specifies that mail is sent using the UNIX to UNIX Copy program.
 local
-
Specifies that the mail is to be delivered locally using
slocal.
