Using the Mail and Messaging system

Sending and receiving mail in a graphical environment

Two graphical mailers are provided. The first, dtmail, is a part of the CDE suite of applications and is found under the paper inbox icon. The second, Netscape, is also capable of acting as a mail reader and is accessed through the netscape icon on the desktop. Note that dtmail uses the C client API to locate a user's INBOX, while Netscape does not. Refer to Message store programming for details of this programming interface.

See also the dtmail and the Netscape documentation for more information.
