Administering the listen port monitor

Listing which services are configured for a listen port monitor

To determine which services are configured for a listen port monitor, enter:

pmadm -l

To list all services for a specific port monitor, use the following command:

pmadm -l -p pmtag

The following is example output for pmtag set to tcp:

PMTAG PMTYPE SVCTAG FLGS ID SCHEME <PMSPECIFIC>
tcp listen 0 - root - \x00020ACB810b8b6e0000000000000000 - c - /usr/lib/saf/nlps_server #NLPS server
tcp listen 10102 - listen	cr1 -s10102 - - c - /usr/lib/uucp/uucico -r0
-iTLI -u xyzuucp #Uucp server
tcp listen tty u - login \x00020ACE810b8b6e0000000000000000 -c ntty,tirdwr,ldterm /usr/bin/shserv #server-side of cu
tcp listen rptsch - root - \x00020AD0810b8b4e0000000000000000 - c - /usr/sbin/reportscheme #reportscheme service

To list the general listen service (0):

pmadm -l -p pmtag -s 0

By definition, service code 0 is for the nlps_server, which is a service that provides compatibility with pre-UNIX System V Release 4 listen service requests.
