Administering Remote Procedure Calls (RPC)

Remote Procedure Call (RPC) administration consists of configuring administration files that: Servers are started at boot time by editable system RC scripts. The file /etc/profile is edited to call keylogin to query for a network password at login time.

NIS is currently the recommended default mechanism for administering the /etc/publickey file for Secure RPC (see ``Administering the Network Information Service (NIS)'' for more information).
