Naming conventions for frame definition files

On the fmli command line, frame definition files are recognized as arguments only when they are named in accordance with the following conventions:

where name can be any string that conforms to the UNIX system file naming conventions.

In a frame definition file, however, file name arguments to the open command can follow the above conventions, or they can have any valid UNIX system file name as long as one of the type casts MENU, FORM, or TEXT is used to identify the kind of frame definition file being opened (see ``Type casts'' for more information).
