Subscription Timeouts

Management applications subscribe to receive events for a limited period. When the period is close to expiring, the managed station sends an expiration warning indication. When the time expires, the managed station sends an expiration indication and stops forwarding indications. See the DMI Management Interface Specification, section 3.3.

The points in the subscription period at which the warning and expiration indications are sent are defined in the input file. For this mechanism to work correctly, the system clocks must be set correctly on both the management and the managed machines.
