Creating class definition tables

Object class definition tables (CDT) describe the objects to be managed, their attributes, and how they can be altered.

To define a object class:

  1. Define object attributes in an attribute definition table.

  2. Define valid operations in an operation definition table.

  3. Group attributes with a group definition table.

  4. List subordinate classes in a subordinates definition table - this table is optional.

  5. Inform the Server API about the class definition tables as described in ``Binding class definitions to the Server API''.
