Variable and array commands

Available commands are:

append(1tcl)

appends data to a variable

array(1tcl)

manipulates array variables

format(1tcl)

formats a string in the style of sprintf

global(1tcl)

accesses global variables

join(1tcl)

creates a string by joining together list elements

rename(1tcl)

renames or deletes a command

scan(1tcl)

parses a string using conversion specifiers in the style of sscanf

set(1tcl)

reads and writes variables

split(1tcl)

splits a string into a proper Tcl list

string(1tcl)

manipulates strings

tclvars(1tcl)

describes global variables used by Tcl

unset(1tcl)

deletes variables

upvar(1tcl)

creates a link to a variable in a different stack frame
