Importing external log files

A log import script is a script that processes an external log file (external to EELS) and produces output that can be imported into an EELS database.

The process has two stages:

1. The log file is split into smaller component parts as described in ``Processing an external file''.

2. The processed output from stage 1 is imported using eels_log_import(1Meels) as described in ``Using eels_log_import''.
