On your SCO UnixWare 2.X system, view or print the file /usr/X/defaults/Xwinconfig. This file contains keyboard, video adapter, and monitor definitions. The important lines are shown here:

From this information, you can determine that the configured video
adapter is a Cirrus Logic GD54xx series model configured for
1024x768 mode.
Record this information, then (if auto-detection or auto-configuration fails) use it to configure your adapter on UnixWare 7 using the Video Configuration Manager.
